The customer is a leading Dutch transport company that specializes in chauffeur, parking and transportation services, as well as hospitality support.
The client used three separate planning systems on a daily basis. All the systems were quite similar, however, each had its own unique features and the customer had to use them all to maintain the workflow. This led to employees doing many repetitive tasks that took a great deal of time and caused errors.
The challenge for Intosoft was to provide the best solution within the allocated budget and ensure efficient business workflow. After going over the client’s business, it was decided to build a solution that would incorporate the functionality of all three planning systems. To make it more complete, the team had to integrate it with client’s accounting and HRM/finance systems and develop mobile applications for the drivers.
The final system represented a client-server application. The client part included mobile applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone platforms. The server part was a CMS that provided additional integration with Axxerion, Cobra, Account View and Harmony systems.
